Fasten your seatbelt and join us for an animated flight from Ilulissat airport, via the town of Ilulissat and east through the Ilulissat Icefjord to the approx. 70 m high glacier front and back again.
The landscape beneath you is created from data acquired by the Landsat 7 satellite. The photos are from 7 July 2001 taken at a height of 705 km. The colours are artificial, the areas with vegetation being brown or red, and rock being greyish.
