WELL DATA - PRODUCTS

Well data are sold as 'Well packages' for each well separately. If GEUS has received all data a standard well package consists of the following items:

• Paper copies of all reports (Excl. Drilling program, site survey).
• Core photos on CD-rom (if included in report listings).
• Sepia copies of all well logs.
• Digital well log data in original LIS/DLIS format and VSP data. Available on Exabyte tapes or on CD-Rom.
• Merged well log data in ASCII format or, if available, in LAS format, on CD-Rom.

Well package price list

NEW - Purchase of a part of the well package
It is now possible to purchase a part of the data included in a well package. You may buy either all the reports, all the sepia logs, the digital logs, the scanned core photos or the merged logs.
The price for the individual parts of the data packages is calculated as a percentage of the price of the entire data package:

NEW - Digital well package
It is now possible to buy a digital version of the well packages. Included in the digital package are the same items as for the standard well package. The reports are delivered as Pdf files, the report enclosures as well as the analogue logs as Tiff files. The digital log data are delivered in the format in which we received it. The digital well packages are available on either CD-Rom or DVD.
If a well is released after 2004 all the digital data as well as the merged log data are available as 'Complete dataset'. This product is a new GEUS concept that assembles all digital well log data from one well on one media. The DVD/CD-Rom contains the following information and data: Technical and administrative data, acquired well log data, index review on digital well log data, original data, merged log data, deviation data, VSP data, documentation files, mud logging data and listing of analogue data.
On purchase of a digital well package, GEUS offers a 10% reduction relative to the standard package list price.

On this homepage you will find listings of the reports available from each well, available at the price of DKK 10,000 per report.

Completion report package
Completion reports as PDF files (where Completion logs and mud logs are available, these are additionally delivered in TIFF format) from released exploration and appraisal wells from the Danish North Sea.

Merged logs package
Merged logs from released exploration and appraisal wells from the Danish North Sea on DVD in LAS format. The following log curves have been merged when available: Gamma ray - Sonic - Neutron - Density - Caliper - Tension - Resistivity and Induction. MWD logs only if wireline logs are not present. Calibrated sonic logs are not included.

GEUS lithostratigraphic database in digital format
Including depth and two way time to the top of formations in released Danish exploration and appraisal wells. Price: DKK 25,000, price for subsequent annual renewal: DKK 3,500. If own or traded confidential wells are requested, GEUS will charge the list price plus the additional handling costs (Latest update June 1997).

Core photographs on CD-rom
High quality core photos are scanned and available on CD-rom. Each CD-rom product is accompanied by a report with paper prints. The product is now included in well packages if available -see report listings and the special price list

Well data summary sheets
Information about released data is available on this web site. Previously we published data catalogues containing this information but these catalogues are no longer being updated. It is still possible though, to obtain copies of the old catalogues, free of charge. Please contact: info-data@geus.dk General information on prices, reductions and conditions
Data announced in our catalogues and price lists are GEUS proprietary data. Purchased copies of data or any part of them may not be given, lent, leased, resold or in any other way distributed to any third party.

GEUS offers a group reduction as listed below.
Please note that the group reduction applies only when joint orders are received in the first instance i.e. subsequent orders for other data and/or from additional companies will not qualify for reductions.

Second company pays 70% (of the full price)
Third and following companies pays (45% of the full price)
